Foreign airports and train stations can often be confusing places to find your way around. Google has launched an interactive map featuring Street Views of over 65 mass-transit hubs. The map features some locations you may have already explored, like Emirates' A380 or London's Gatwick Airport, alongside some new sites across Europe, South America, and Asia. Google Indoor Street View makes use of thousands of stitched images, which together create a panoramic map of the inside of the terminal. Passengers can use these images to plan their journey through the facility.

In december 2013, Yekaterinburg’s Koltsovo International Airport announced that it partnered with IT firm Sitiskanner to implement the first phase of Indoor Mapping, an interior navigation program built on top of Google Maps.Koltsovo Airport is the first Russian company to pilot the Indoor Mapping software. Google specialists expect more indoor maps to become available for Russian buildings next year.
