Overview
Halliburton's field operations demand speed, coordination, and precision. Whether managing tools across a sprawling yard or directing staff during high-stakes procedures, visibility and timing are critical. To meet these demands, Halliburton partnered with Navigine to implement a real-time location tracking system across both indoor and outdoor facilities. The goal was to eliminate blind spots, streamline workflows, and connect training insights directly to production performance—turning movement into actionable intelligence.
Scope of Work
Navigine deployed a dual-environment RTLS platform across Halliburton’s indoor arena (160×200 ft, 28 ft height) and outdoor sand pad (100×200 ft), using BLE locators with PoE cabling indoors and wireless UWB locators mounted on tripods outdoors. Staff, tools, and forklifts were tagged for precise tracking, supported by 4G connectivity and battery charging stations for field durability. An on-premise server enabled secure, real-time analytics, while SDK integration extended tracking and reporting capabilities into mobile apps used by field teams—creating a unified system for visibility, coordination, and performance optimization.
