Bluetooth® Tracking Tag

RTLS navigation and tracking systems use Bluetooth® tracking tags. These devices can be represented by many shapes and sizes, such as badges, cards, tags, etc. These will usually be installed on the equipment or issued to staff/visitors to send out signals at a specific cadence. Readers pick up these pulses and use them to locate the object in question.

Bluetooth® Low Energy Tag Features

Easy To Set Up And Use:
Beacon tags are easy to set up and deploy, allowing you to track objects in real-time. They provide data about the location of an object, which can then be used for various business purposes.

On average the accuracy is up to 3 ft. Data accuracy is achieved with ultra-low RF transmission power, which improves equipment performance when deployed in high-density environments.
Personalizing Customer Experience:
With beacon tags, you can implement a system for precise positioning and set up targeted push notifications with personalized offers that will make store visitors more drawn to the shopping mall
Easily Developing Apps with Tag Data:
Navigine provides easy-to-use software tools that can help you easily build indoor navigation & tracking mobile apps based on tag data.

Applications For Bluetooth® Low Energy Tags

Bluetooth® beacon tags are suitable for many businesses. They can be used to monitor assets and staff, track wandering patients in clinics, and call for help urgently.
Indoor asset tracking
Miniature Bluetooth® asset tracking tags can be attached to assets and tracked in real-time. These devices are best suited for supply chain management, controlling the movement of vehicles, and monitoring stocks in warehouses
Staff monitoring
Beacon badges can be used in staff management. They allow management to track the presence of any given staff member at the facility and control access to prohibited areas. Bluetooth® LE tags are widely used in hospitals to control healthcare workers or elderly patients (such as those suffering from dementia, Alzheimer's, etc.).
Tracking wandering patients in hospitals
Bluetooth® beacon tags are a perfect fit for monitoring wandering patients in hospitals. They can be a great solution when caring for the elderly and those suffering from dementia, especially when a person gets lost or is left alone in an unfamiliar place for a long period of time.
Urgent call for help in case of emergency
The built-in panic button allows you to use the beacon tag to call for help. It’s designed in such a way that it’s easy to use in an emergency. Immediately after pressing the button, the signal is sent to the server, and after further processing it’s sent to the smartphones or desktop computers of the medical staff.
