 Good collaborations bring good solutions. When there is a platform that provides interactive content for events and an indoor navigation platform, the result can be impressive. By adding Navigine SDK to the core product, developers can significantly increase its functionality and user engagement. GEBS, our partner, presents an example of how it can be done.

 GEBS is a Swedish-Romanian software development company founded in 1999. Since then we have been implementing software solutions for a large range of industries and domains such as government, sport, transportation, system engineering, marketing and e-commerce, etc.

 GEBS's product Zoniz is an open platform for engagement that uses proximity technology (beacons and GPS) to reach people based on their location.

 Zoniz platform can be successfully used at expos, where both organizers and exhibitors can create interactive content for attendees. All three parties are getting value out of it.

 The organizers get to interact with participants from the moment they arrive at the location and enhance their ROI by offering paid content in the app; exhibitors can attract customers to their booth and collect relevant data; participants get the chance to find all points of interest, the possibility of winning prizes and an easy way to give feedback.

 Using our Zoniz ready-to-use templates, exhibitors will be able to create:

  • info campaigns,
  • videos,
  • events,
  • vouchers,
  • scratch off tickets,
  • polls,
  • photo contests,
  • loyalty campaigns
    and so on.

 Integrating Navigine into Zoniz adds a new layer to the entire experience, because now Zoniz can also provide indoor maps and wayfinding functionality for expos events.

 The features that are available through this functionality are:

  • displaying the map and showing the current position of the user;
  • search capabilities by venues or venue categories (results are shown on the map), graphical directions from current location to a specific booth or other POI;
  • integration with content.

When visitors are using the indoor maps inside the expo venue, they can search or select a booth and see what kind of content is available for that exhibitor.

 Zoniz's main focus is proximity, so the indoors map and navigation feature that Zoniz get from Navigine complements this product and allows us to offer a complete experience to our clients. Large venues like expo halls can really benefit from helping their visitors find their way during their events, so they can easily find what they are looking for.

 Traditionally, people are already consulting paper maps while attending expos, so Navigine’s version that can allow them to see their position in real time can also be a great incentive for them to download the app and subsequently discover all the other interesting features that Zoniz has to offer.
